Promise and excitement for Favour Stud Racing this Friday

Favour Stud is making inroads in the Horse Racing Industry at a rapid speed. The brilliant team led by the beautiful and humble Trainer and Breeder, Renate Du Plessis, who was featured in Sporting Post with her promising career, her husband Jannie, Stallion and farm Manager and the owners Ernst and Engelize du Preez has become a force to be reckoned with.

Building up Favour Stud into a Racing Force within 6 Years of start-up. TOP 20 breeder in SA and currently ranked no 1 in SA runners to winners. As at 18 May 2015 Favour Stud produced 53.3 % winners to runners after only being in the industry for 6 years.

What makes this weekend so unique, is the fact that the first bought and raced Favour Stud thoroughbred racing horse, was Gilded Moon. Gilded Moon was the Winner of the 19 December 2008 MILKWOOD STUD STAKES. She won 4 of her 5 starts in the 2009 season and came 2nd in the other start.

What makes this day so special is that Favour Stud has not one, but three very promising thoroughbreds, born and bred by Favour Stud racing in the MILWOOD STUD STAKES this coming Friday, 5 June 2015. They are Lielums and Jay’s Favour trained, by Renate du Plessis and Sarve trained by Corné Spies.

The Thoroughbred Lielums from Favour Stud a true winner   Brilliant and promising racehorse Jay's Favour from Favour Stud              The gutsy Lielums on her way                      Jay's Favour in action

The gutsy Lielums is a well-travelled 6 time winner who seldom runs a bad race, she still has loads to give and we trust she will only come back stronger. The swift chestnut, Jay’s Favour with 2 wins under her belt is also full of promise. Sarve, the promising daughter of Sarge is, is a 5 time winner and in immaculate condition and also big competition in this race.

Sarve another born and bred thoroughbred winner from Favour Stud
Sarve - On one of his winning sprees

These three horses will be racing against each other, this Friday, 5 June 2015 in the 7th race at 16:00 at Fairview over a distance of 1000m. Maybe history will repeat itself on a greater scale this weekend at the MILKWOOD STUD STAKES for Favour Stud.
